Reggello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region of Tuscany, located about 25 km southeast of Florence.
Reggello borders the following municipalities: Castel San Niccolò, Castelfranco di Sopra, Figline Valdarno, Incisa in Val d'Arno, Montemignaio, Pelago, Pian di Scò, Rignano sull'Arno.
The most famous point of interest is the Abbey of Vallombrosa, located in the famous Vallombrosa forest, ten kilometers far away the down town.
In 1966 a neighborhood of Reggello was destroied from a land slide triggered from the same rains that also flooded Florence. In those days seven people died.
